3 Days Kayaking Tour (Amouliani Island Greece)

The value for money was very good. There is a restaurant not far from Rila Monastery where you can have lunch, which has a varied and good value menu. If you want to ask about tours, they have an office, which we found after enquiring at the tourist office, but it's on Rilski Street just off Vitosha Blvd, so very central.

He drove incredibly safely... read more despite the difficult driving conditions (lots of snow and windy mountainous roads). He is clearly an experienced driver.

The views from the road were epic and he stopped frequently to break up the journey at service stations. My guide was very informative and told me lots about Bulgaria and North Macedonia while we travelled.
He then showed me lots of tourist attractions when we arrived in the city including Mother Theresa’s memorial house, museums, statues and the old town. Michael’s English is superb and he explained everything very clearly.

The old town has great shopping options- lots of antique shops, a market and authentic places to eat. You can also visit the mosque in the old town. I bought a painting for a euro and some hand-knitted slippers for around the same price. I also bought a hand-woven carpet for a reasonable price so I was very pleased. The souvenirs were better in Macedonia than in Sofia from what I saw.

The view from the fortress is very picturesque. I took some nice photos of mountains, the mosque and the cross on the hill from here.
The trip lasted for around 12 hours in total and I would recommend it. Thank you

  We delayed 5 min for losing our wallet, and still they gave us no option to go to the excursion, despite the fact that hours before we were notified by... read more mail that the tour was advanced 30 min.
Then we proposed if they gave us back the amount of the. First part, since it was visiting a church that when we went there made us pay as if we were without the group, which was much more expensive. The guide at no time helped us. He also said that there would be an explanation in Spanish and that was not the case.
Ok. Sorry you go at your own pace and alone.
