1. 1. Rila Monastery. Undoubtedly the most visited cultural and historical site within a 2-hour drive from the capital is the UNESCO listed 10-century old largest monastery in Bulgaria. Nestled among thick forest in the stunningly beautiful Rila mountain, our tours combine this guided visit with UNESCO Boyana church, with Thermae Spa complex or with wine tasting.
