An English-speaking V travel guide will pick you up from your accommodation or hotel in Sofia at 9:00 and after about 2-hour drive with various landscape you will reach the Serbian border.After crossing the border you will go a nearby town of Bosilegrad (former Yugoslavia and now in Serbia).
You will enjoy a short walk and a cup of coffe before you cross back the border with Bulgaria and head for Northern Macedonia.Another short drive after the border crossing will take to the beautiful Monastery of Osogovo – an incredibly powerful place in the hills from the 12th century, turned into a mosque by the Ottomans and again into church. You will have lunch in this beautiful nature setting a la Macedonian with a salad and a choice of main course (meat, fish or vegetarian) and a drink or beer of course!
The place is very scenic and very peaceful for a walk after the lunch and before the road trip back to Sofia.The itinerary may vary depending on road conditions, border waiting, weather, traffic or other.
